Dr. Thaddeus A. CHEATHAM, 78, died yesterday at a Pinehurst, N.C. hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at the Pinehurst Village Chapel on Wednesday afternoon. He had been rector at that church for 43 years before his retirement five years ago. He was a native of Henderson, and is survived by his wife, the former Ann Faulkner of Henderson, a daughter, and three grandchildren.
