Mrs. Sally Royster VAUGHAN, 67, died Saturday. Funeral services will be held today (Nov. 11) at Nut Bush Presbyterian Church of Townsville in Vance County, where she was a member, by Dr. James McChesney of the First Presbyterian Church in Rocky Mount, assisted by Rev. Patrick Penick. Burial will follow in the churchyard cemetery. She taught in North Carolina schools for 50 years, until her retirement five years ago. At the time of her death she was living with her son, William D. Vaughn, of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. W. B. Terry of Mecklenburg Co., Va.
